Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Livonia Novi

This is a nice place to stay, unfortunately I stayed and there were multiple kids parties going on at the same time. The children were completely out of control with no adult supervision whatsoever. They were running at top speed with wet feet and bathing suits on. It was bad enough that when I got on the elevator, a gentleman looked at me and said he loves kids but what the heck is going on? When I say multiple parties, I’m talking at least 50 children. At least!! At breakfast they were trying to come with bathing suits on and wet from head to toe. They were turned away for suits and no shoes but the entire breakfast area was packed within minutes of arriving. I had children fighting and screaming outside my room at 9:15 am!! They also played on the elevators. I was on the fourth floor and gave up trying to use it as they would hold it up so you couldn’t. No supervision. None.

there have been some bad reviews but, I found the desk staff friendly and good at their job. the room was very spacious and clean. bathroom was clean. microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room. convenient, easy to find and reasonably priced. don't look at a 2 star review that complains about a slow elevator and believe it reflects the reality of the location. will stay here again if I get the chance.

The brand of embassy suites is so amazing.I have always had an amazing time staying at the super.Comfortable bags and getting a very nice breakfast in the morning time. Unfortunately, at this location, not all of the elevators were working, so it was a very long line to go up to any of the floors. They did not have an out of order on each elevator and that was frustrating because if you were sitting there and pushed the button, you could be waiting for an elevator in vain. Unfortunately, the room that I booked only had one towel on it and that was super frustrating. We had to reuse the same towel over and over again. And it was so busy at the front desk. I didn't even bother going down to ask for another one. At least they have a pool and I guess I've got to went down there and grabbed the pool towel, but I decided not to. I do appreciate them having shampoo conditioner and body. Wash on the shower and like I said, the beds are just so comfortable. The price is really great to overall. I will give this place 4 out of 5 stars. As I was posting the photos, I just noticed something. It seems like the skylight in the main atrium area is in the shape of a large anchor or at least that's what it looks like to me.

I don't know how this hotel isn't rated higher. It is beautiful. For one it has 5 floors and Ron's of rooms. We came on a Thursday so it wasn't very busy. This would be a great place for business events. I really hope we can keep this gem around so please visit then. There is a genders detriot on site. Free breakfast. Staff is very friendly. The other reviews on here that are negative do not seem like an accurate display on this place.

First, I would like to say, this is an older hotel. It is in need of renovation. After reading the review (after I had booked through my company travel group), I was very concerned. Upon arrival, my first impression was that it's off the beaten path, which isn't a bad thing. But easy to get to the main highways to get where you need to go. The hotel is grand, and back in its heyday, I am sure it was the go-to. Honestly, it was not as dirty as I had seen in other reviews; again, it's just an older hotel. My room was clean, and the suite was nice and large. The staff was excellent, Jennifer at the restaurant bar is fantastic. She makes you feel like you are bellying up to your local bar. Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, but they also have a cook preparing made-to-order food as well if that is what you prefer. I did not use the pool or hot tub; the pool was a little cloudy when I walked around. Very nice, large fitness room to use. I mentioned to the staff that the back door at the hotel didn't lock, so you could enter without a key card, and they submitted a service request. All in all, for the price, it isn't a bad place to stay. I hope the Embassy is planning to renovate, because it could be a grand hotel again.

My experience at this hotel was nothing short of outstanding. The Hotel was very clean and modern. Their dining and lounge area served delicious food and offered a full bar. Every detail, from the quality of the linens to the lighting and amenities, reflected true attention to comfort. The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping maintained the room perfectly throughout my stay. The fitness center and pool were spotless and fully equipped. Their Breakfast was a good start to my day. They had a wide variety of fresh, appetizing and and clean food. Every staff member I interacted with was attentive and genuinely committed to making the experience exceptional. Whether I needed local recommendations or a simple request for extra towels, everything was handled quickly and with a smile. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly 5-star experience.

Jennifer the Bartender was amazing. Very personable, entertaining and engaging. She rocked it being so busy between bartending, waiting on tables and having a line out the bar for the complimentary drinks.

Need remodeling! elevator is much slow than others because of old model. Breakfast is very well served. Front desk and cleaning staff can not communicate well because of no own staff of cleaning. Ask soaps took long time to deliver. Maintenance staff was very good and fast served for changing dead bulbs. They charged and refunded for this stay because of the front desk mistake. I am waiting refund come back to my account.
